Prospective Rotators

Are you an existing resident who’d like to rotate at BMC?

Boston Medical Center is proud to offer house staff outside of BMC the opportunity to rotate through our superb training programs.

The Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine (BORIM) requires all rotators to have a valid Massachusetts medical license. You must apply on their website if you do not have a Massachusetts license. License applications cost $100.00 + $2.79 (online convenience fee) and, once submitted, can take up to eight weeks for Board approval.

Please note: Interns, residents, and fellows are not allowed to come as observers, regardless of the country in which they are currently practicing.

How to Apply

The Program Administrator of the BMC program you wish to join will provide you with a password that you must use to submit the electronic application (Google Form).

Once you have completed the initial application form, the BMC Program Administrator with whom you are working will grant you access to New Innovations. You will be assigned a rotator checklist (with detailed instructions) into which you can enter and upload all of the required information.
